Since I was a young girl, I always wanted to become a teacher. My summers were spent by playing school with my neighbors. I had the great opportunity to volunteer my high school years at Liberty Elementary School in the city of South Gate. This gave me the insight that I truly wanted to be a role model to students. I had the great privilege to attend California State University Fullerton in which I learned the many lessons and experiences that will lead to my goal. I had the opportunity to earn my Masters at Grand Canyon University ( Master of Education, Curriculum/Instruction: Reading). I also attended Loyola Marymount University (Masters of Arts: Elementary Education). Through my education I have the ability to apply the necessary learning tools that will lead to my students success. I am blessed to be at St. Aloysius Gonzaga School. It has been a fascinating life experience to share with my students. I look forward to an amazing school year!
